Metro Monitor http://www.metromonitor.com has acquired San Francisco based News Direct Services. The Birmingham based provider of media monitoring and TV news clip services purchased the business operations of News Direct Services, a San Francisco based media monitoring and news clipping business.
“The acquisition will expand Metro Monitor’s presence in the California market. The News Direct team has been in businesss for 23 years and has established strong relationships with the public relations community in San Francisco. We look forward to building on those relationships with the expanded media monitoring services Metro Monitor provides.” said Bryan Council, President of Metro Monitor.
Metro Monitor was founded in 1993 and provides news monitoring and media intelligence services to public relations and corporate communications professionals throughout the United States. The company provides subscription based news monitoring and news clipping services via its proprietary databases and software as a service media monitoring platform.
